Guest lecture in a research methods course using Spatial Opportunities for Self-Produced Environments as a case study for constructing architectural and urban research. The session presented the dissertation’s combination of a geolocated demographic survey, quantitative Spatial Opportunity Index, and qualitative analysis of planning documents, demonstrating how different forms of evidence can be articulated to investigate self-production, spatial inequality, accessibility, and urban transformation.
