Multidisciplinary option studio investigating socio-spatial justice through the development of a pattern language for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Building on Christopher Alexander’s pattern languages and the Just City Lab’s Just City Index, students mapped patterns of injustice, engaged stakeholders through fieldwork and co-creation, and translated values of urban justice into spatial and policy patterns.
