Advanced architecture and urban design studio examining self-produced environments as complex urban systems rather than territories defined primarily by informality or deficiency. Students investigated relationships among housing, public space, circulation, infrastructure, landscape, and community organization, using architectural and urban design interventions to identify opportunities for improving connections between self-produced neighborhoods and the larger city.
