This urban design proposal transforms Río de Janeiro Avenue into a linear urban park by articulating intermodal plazas with green public spaces. A system of replicable design elements allows the intervention to be implemented incrementally while establishing continuity across the avenue.

The proposal integrates five dimensions: local and metropolitan mobility through a connected public-space network; technology supporting connectivity and citizen interaction; economic sustainability through revenue-generating uses; social sustainability through plazas and parks accommodating different forms and speeds of interaction; and environmental sustainability through biodiversity, energy-efficient design, and water management.
